We had a wonderful meal on Monday night, with a lovely host bringing us our food. The Tashreeb was definitely "man's food", very good, beautifully cooked and exceedingly filling. The kebab was super and we are still wanting more Falafel! And the bill was so little, how do you do it?!
I will be coming again and suggesting your resturant to everyone I know in Edinburgh

Thanks to Jamal for a wonderful night at Hanam's. The food was amazing had never tried kurdish before, definitely will again. Portions were huge and tasty. One of the best evenings ever!

"Just wanted to write to thank you for a great evening! None of us had ever eaten Kurdish food before but thoroughly enjoyed the experience with superb menu. The evening was made all the much nicer by the warm, relaxed atmosphere and of course Jamal was an extremely pleasant host and could not have done more to make us feel welcome. It was a real find discovering a little bit of Kurdistan in Edinbugh."

heard about the place through restaurant reviews on the web and without a booking we arrived at about 9pm on Saturday night and were shown a table by Jamal straight away! We had heard the host was brilliant, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly and the food outstanding – and after our meal on the weekend I am happy to agree with it all! As an Aussie who laments the lack of tasty lamb available in Scotland (compared to her bbq’ed lamb at home!), can I say the lamb kebab we had was amazing and so tasty – easily the best flavoured and most tender meat I have had outside of Australia. Everything else was delicious as well, with special mention going to the mixed platter for starters – so very yummy.

Came several months ago with a friend and enjoyed great food. Taking my husband soon as we had such a good meal the experience must be shared. Affordable prices and quality food too.

Just discovered Hanam's throough friends recommendation & will definatley be going again. Fantastic food, really filling, great laugh & a tiny bill at the end of the night!

Had a wonderful meal at Hanam's. Huge portions, and delicious, like nothing I have ever tasted before. And the owner is just brilliant - would really recommend it!
